We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Assembly Technician to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality vehicles by assembling various automotive components and ensuring that each vehicle meets our quality and safety standards. This position demands a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Assembly: Assemble automotive components within assigned target times with 100% quality rating

Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in the finished product.

Tool and Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized assembly equipment, while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including parts used, work completed, and any issues encountered during the process.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve assembly-related problems and malfunctions to ensure the efficient production of high-quality vehicles.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow team members, including engineers, quality control inspectors, and production supervisors, to optimize assembly processes and ensure overall production goals are met.

Training: Stay updated on automotive assembly techniques, tools, and equipment to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
Previous experience in automotive assembly or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret SOP’s, assembly instructions, and technical documents.
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and protocols rigorously.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components.
Flexibility to work in various shifts and overtime as required.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
