Smog Technician Compensation and Benefits

Smog Technician Qualifications
- Must Have a Valid Driver’s License with clean record
- California Smog License
- ASE Certificated highly preferred
- 2 to 3+ years’ experience in vehicle emissions testing
- Able to pass a drug test and background check
Experience – 2+ years’ experience conducting emissions test on various vehicles to ensure they meet state and federal standards.

Smog Technician Responsibilities
- Conduc emissions tests on a variety of vehicles

- Operate and maintain smog check equipment and tools
