The Auto Mechanic position is responsible for performing visual inspections, diagnostics and repair work on vehicles. The right candidate will also be able to pinpoint problems, communicate properly with service advisors, research solutions and educate customers as to proper maintenance and usage of their vehicles. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in taking apart and putting back together anything mechanical, and who is comfortable working in close proximity to greasy car parts.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair to specifications for all import/domestic vehicles
Brakes and hydraulics, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
Perform regular preventive maintenance checks of vehicle inventory, including oil changes and tire rotation.
Communicate with customers to explain procedures
Perform Multi Point inspections on vehicles
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
Fill out repair order form, record work completed and any attachments, such as invoices, that are required.
Perform warranty work when required.
Keep managers aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Maintain an organized and safe environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
