Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues related to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely while adhering to industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive service and repair is required.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems is essential; experience with european vehicles engine repair is a plus.
- Previous work experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to weld is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
