Pay Range: The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $31.00 and $50.00.
Requirements:
Prior Automotive Technician experience required.
Acura/Honda dealership experience is preferred and a plus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must posses a valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances.
Authorized to work in the United States.

JOB TITLE: Service Technician
DEPARTMENT: Service
REPORTS TO: Service & Parts Director
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
Identifies problems with vehicles uses the diagnostic equipment.
Explains automotive repairs and issues and provides great customer service.
Plans repair procedures uses charts manuals and experience.
Tests the functionality of parts and systems.
Performs basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
Repairs and replaces brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
Performs routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
Prepares to get additional certification as needed.
Learns with hands-on training.
Helps keep repair shop clean and organized.
Keeps a professional appearance.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
