Qualifications
•High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Engine and mechanical system knowledge is required
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
•Ability to meet deadlines and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic. Responsibilities
•Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and diagnostic procedures on generators of all sizes
•Perform load bank testing
•Perform generator preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
•Document all tests and findings from 85-point inspections to provide feedback to customers
•Perform engine repairs and conduct electrical troubleshooting; diagnose and assess electrical problems using electrical schematics
•
Assist other technicians, train junior team members or learn from more experienced.
•Gather and present information to customers on work performed and/or needed repairs
•Provide end user training, as necessary, on how to operate equipment
•Maintain compliance with all applicable safety and environmental policies and procedures
•Work hours are normally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
•Technicians may occasionally be required to work after standard business hours and/or during the weekend to meet customer needs
•Technicians can expect to be placed on the on-call rotation schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
