Volkswagen of Oakland is looking for a Used Car Automotive Technician to add to our team. With an overwhelming demand for our used cars, we need another Full Time used car technician to work on Volkswagens and other makes. We average over 3 hours of flag time per used car.
We are the #1 Dealer in Northern California in New & CPO sales. We have been a family owned and operated shop for 25 years and are looking to add another technician to our progressive shop. Ideal Candidate:
- Automotive mechanic experience in Franchised Dealership a plus
- Tires, oil changes, Brakes, preventative maintenance skills required
- Knowledge of different makes required
- VW or Audi experience a plus
- Master certifications a plus
- Must personally own mechanical tools
- Efficient and work with sense of urgency
- Valid Driver's license and clear background check
- Timely, trustworthy, and responsible
- Attention to detail
- Care about customers and quality of work
- ASE certified a plus (will consider expired certifications)
Skills:
- R & R experience preferred
- Routine Maintenance jobs (brakes, oil changes, alignment, etc.)
- Perform all aspects of preventive maintenance
