Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Service Technician(s) to join our team in a Full-time, Part-time, or As-Needed basis. The ideal candidate will be NORA Certified, have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle the physical demands of the job. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of various systems and appliances. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with oil-fired furnaces and boilers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating systems.
- Installation of oil-fired systems.
- Installation of fuel oil tanks
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and recommend solutions.
Skills
- Proficiency in heating oil system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of regulations regarding ASTs. Certification in tank inspections a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
