Ayer Auto Service is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair. We are a family owned business we have been in business for over 30 years, We offer hourly pay, M-F Schedule 8-4. Vacation and sick time after a year, paid holidays, pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues
- Provide estimates for auto repairs and communicate effectively with customers
- Complete repairs on various vehicles
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of auto estimating software is beneficial
- Ability to align and repair vehicle systems effectively
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
- Familiarity with dealership procedures and standards

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
