Responsibilities
Oil Changes: Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services efficiently and accurately to ensure vehicle longevity and performance.
Fluid Checks: Inspect and replenish all fluid levels including brake, coolant, and transmission fluids to maintain optimal vehicle function.
Filter Replacements: Check and replace air, oil, and cabin filters as needed, ensuring clean and efficient engine operations.
Brake Inspections: Conduct preliminary brake inspections and report findings to the service advisor for further action.
Tire Maintenance: Inspect tires for proper inflation and wear, rotate as needed, and replace upon approval.
Service Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to the service team.
Clean Workspace: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
Requirements
Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Lube Technician or in a related field in the automotive industry.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive systems and how they function.
Certification: ASE certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with teammates and customers.
Customer Service: A friendly demeanor and a positive attitude towards providing high-quality customer service.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot using technical skills and knowledge.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals efficiently.
