Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diesel engine repair and automotive electrical systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues while ensuring the highest standards of service quality.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on gas, electric, and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with service technicians to provide training and guidance on best practices in automotive service.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed for each vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working in the shop environment.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician, minimum of 5 years as a technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues related to diesel engines and automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Certification in automotive service or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
