JOB SUMMARY:
Millstone is seeking an energetic and engaged Technician to join our Manufacturing Engineering Department. As a Technician, you will be required to collaborate with Millstone’s Manufacturing Engineers to assist in equipment selection, installation, validation, maintenance and calibration, improvements, documentation, spare parts, and of course Product Quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate vendor visits,
- Oversee spare parts program,
- Execute records, templates, work instructions, and operating procedures,
- Eager, hands-on manufacturing support through equipment and process troubleshooting,
- Assist in developing and implementing equipment reliability improvements through targeted maintenance procedures and technical system upgrades,
- Assist in timely equipment troubleshooting and repair, development of systems and procedures to be used for product quality and process capability improvements,
- Trend preventive maintenance and calibration data for end-of-service predictions using predictive analytics,
- Collaborate and partner with various departments to investigate and troubleshoot process or equipment issues, and to implement specific corrective actions using PFMEA, root cause analysis, and other risk management methodologies,
- Act as an integral member of project teams tasked with resolving technical issues or continuous improvement projects,
- Develop workable project plans and timelines to meet goals,
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Experience in medical device processing or manufacturing / manufacturing engineering support
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a team or independently with minimum supervision
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft based applications
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, schematics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques is a plus
