We are looking for entry level technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we seek are responsible for excellence in the work they perform, the environment they keep, and their efficiency to maximize weekly performance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, tire mount & balance, fluid services and more.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Ensure all preventative maintenance reports are complete and accurate
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections so our customer understand ALL service and maintenance needs for their vehicle
- Work with the Shop Foreman to ensure repairs are performed timely and repair delays are communicated to Customer Service Team .
- Update and obtain ASE and internal Christian Brothers certifications.
- Follow and promote high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Shop Foreman / Management
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
- Current drivers license
- This is an entry level position. We would prefer Tech School training or a high mechanical aptitude working on vehicles desired
- Basic starter set of tools and rolling tool cart required
- Desire to master entry level skills and work your way to a higher level technician
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer
