We are seeking a skilled and experienced European Automotive Technician to join our team. As a European Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining European vehicles, with a focus on precision, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience working with European car makes and models, possess strong diagnostic abilities, and exhibit a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Perform diagnostic tests on European vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, according to manufacturer specifications.
3. Repair and replace parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems, on European cars.
4. Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
5. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on vehicles and operating equipment.
6. Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities performed on European vehicles.
7. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns or questions.
8. Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology and attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and provide assistance when needed.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold professional standards and maximize productivity.
**Requirements:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal automotive technician training program preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an automotive technician, with a focus on European car makes and models.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in European vehicles.
4. Strong knowledge of European automotive systems, components, and technologies.
5. Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment, such as scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
6. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to perform repairs accurately.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
10. ASE certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
11. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
12. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
