Job Summary:
Envision Motors of Milpitas is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at our dealership in Milpitas, California. As a full-time Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and performing repairs on all types of vehicles brought into our service center. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for the automotive industry. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a salary range of $32 to $45 per hour, paid semi-monthly. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in used vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to dealership and manufacturer safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
- Must have own tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
