JOB
The essential function of the position within the organization is to repair and maintain vehicles and equipment. The position is responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair, completing work orders, providing emergency roadside service, and welding. The position works under general supervision independently developing work methods and sequences.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to preventative maintenance (oil changes), tire repairs/changing, basic electrical repair and troubleshooting/diagnosis skills on both vehicles and equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Employee may be exposed to extreme heat and/or cold, wet/humid conditions, bright and/or dim light, dust or pollen, intense noise levels, vibration, fumes or noxious odors, moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, heights, traffic and toxic or caustic chemicals.
