Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to a competitive hourly wage between $17 - $50 per hour, Volvo Cars of Queens offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical and dental health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid vacation and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as tune-ups, oil changes, and brake service.
- Inspect and test all vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain repair records and be aware of all warranties.
- Work with other technicians to share best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- New York State Inspectors License
- Automotive mechanical knowledge and experience
- Computer literacy (ability to repair automotive computers)
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent customer service skills
