SUMMARY
Prepares Automotive Body Shop invoices, receives payment for transactions, and plays a key role in creating and maintaining customer satisfaction. Provides administrative support to body shop operations. Preferred hours of work will be 10:00 am to 2:00 pm weekdays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists in scheduling Body Shop repairs
- Assists in opening repair orders and computes customer and internal bills. Closes all open repair orders, particularly at month end
- Gathers vehicle information and works with insurance estimates, uploading final bills and estimates to insurance companies. Files insurance claims
- Assists in responding promptly to emails from insurance companies requesting further information, estimates, or pictures
- Greets customers and answers incoming phone calls in a prompt, pleasant, professional manner
- Receives and records cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and refers dissatisfied customers to appropriate individuals for resolution
- Tracks technician hours for payroll and production purposes
- Assists in customer follow up calls to verify customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred. High school diploma required
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and processing
- Customer service focus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
