Duncan's Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team!

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate with necessary personnel obtain needed parts
- Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed
- Advise management immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work, return the repair order to the Advisor.
- Road test customer vehicles
- Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort, convenience systems or audio system settings.
- Keep the shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all shop owned tools at all times
- Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards
- Keep an open mind and communicate ideas for improvement of the efficiency in our processes.
Automotive Technician Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience minimum
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have your own tools
- Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Must be a motivated self-starter & works well as a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
