Here’s what a Working Shop Foreman will be doing:
- Execute the highest level of auto diagnostics and repair while leading the shop
- Assist service technicians with difficult diagnostics
- Train and develop all service technicians while ensuring that everyone is up to date with vendor certifications
- Address the customer’s primary concern with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain Fixed First Visit expectations
- Master our Dealer Management System for time keeping, work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes and communication
- Keep the shop in shape and can always account for all dealership-owned tools
- Ace your assigned factory-sponsored training classes
- Maintain knowledge of all factory technical bulletins
- Leave no trace in a customer’s car by keeping it clean
- Understand federal, state and local regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Master manufacturer certifications are strongly desired
- Prior experience working as a Working Shop Foreman is preferred
- Experience in leading a team or being a team lead in a mechanic shop environment is required
- Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information, whether electronic or paper-based
- Excel at diagnostics including drive-ability and electrical problems
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing any/all types of vehicle systems
- Excellent manual dexterity as well as patience, creativity, and an eye for detail
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
