Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for experienced ASE / GM Certified Technician to join our Fixed Operations TEAM at our Chevrolet dealership in Marshalltown, IA.

Technician Responsibilities:
- tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
- communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimated amount of time needed for additional repairs
- executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- ensure all components & systems are working properly to isolate the cause of the problem
- performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards/ manufacturer standards
- establish working relationships with our quality, professionally trained service advisors to provide the best service experience and secure future customer retention & referrals
- operate independently as rapidly as possible to repair / service the concern, & get to the next job with the support of the service manager and service advisors
Technician Requirements:
- 4 day work week with (4) 10 hour shifts to allow for a 3 day weekend
- up to $40/hour based on experience
- (up to $10k available signing bonus, experience dependent)
