Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for experienced ASE / GM Certified Technician to join our Fixed Operations TEAM at our Chevrolet dealership in Marshalltown, IA.

Technician Responsibilities:

tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimated amount of time needed for additional repairs
executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
ensure all components & systems are working properly to isolate the cause of the problem
performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards/ manufacturer standards
establish working relationships with our quality, professionally trained service advisors to provide the best service experience and secure future customer retention & referrals
operate independently as rapidly as possible to repair / service the concern, & get to the next job with the support of the service manager and service advisors

Technician Requirements:

4 day work week with (4) 10 hour shifts to allow for a 3 day weekend
up to $40/hour based on experience
(up to $10k available signing bonus, experience dependent)
