Job Summary:
McDonough Hyundai is seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Hyundai certified Service Technician. As a certified technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest standards. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry with a compensation range of $22 to $50 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities:
As a Hyundai certified Service Technician at McDonough Hyundai, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Communicating effectively with customers and providing them with detailed explanations of service needs and recommendations
- Utilizing dealership resources and tools to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the service department
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Hyundai technology and service procedures through ongoing training and education
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified automotive technology program
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be a Hyundai certified technician
- Prior experience working in an automotive service department preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
