Duties
The Mobile Service Technician position performs vehicle service and repair work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately repair vehicles.
Maintain the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately service and repair vehicles.
Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on the repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Maintain the mobile service vehicle you have been assigned.
Greet customers at their location and perform the repairs assigned.
Perform inspections to identify any needed repairs or preventative maintenance needs.
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Communicate with service advisor/dispatcher regarding repair status.
Document all work performed on the repair order using the dealer management system.
Maintain the highest possible standards of workmanship.
Road-test vehicles before and after the repair, when applicable.
Maintain cleanliness with customer’s vehicles.
Maintain shop cleanliness.
Participate in service training activities and factory-sponsored training classes.
Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition, immediately report safety incidents.
Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions.
Possess general tools to perform the tasks assigned according to your job-roll.
Any other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Maine State A,E License Required.
Must be a Ford Certified Technician, with 3 years’ experience (Preferred).
Self-starter and ability to be a great team player.
Clean driving record required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.70 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
