We're now taking applications for a Body Shop Parts Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
Order, receive, and inspect all parts and verify invoice/parts are correct and without damage
Ensure that unused parts and cores are returned to vendors and verify credit has been received
Keep parts area clean and organized
Deliver parts to technicians.
Bill out parts on the Body Shop Repair Order
Perform duties as assigned by management
Report any safety issues to management immediately
Qualifications
- Automotive experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic personal computer skills
- Working knowledge of the automotive industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, self-motivated, responsible, honest
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to stoop, kneel, reach and handle parts and equipment up to 70 lbs.
- Able to work in an environment that is dusty and various chemicals, compounds and paint are used.
- Must pass background check
- Applicants may be drug-tested
