We are seeking a reliable, detail oriented individual to join our team and work directly with our Service Team. The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs.
To be a successful candidate, you will have a Level A certification, be self motivated, take pride in a job well done and the ability to work weekends. Qualified Candidates could be eligible for a $3,000.00 sign on bonus
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
- Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including (but not limited to) engine, transmission, electrical steering, alignment, suspension, brakes and air conditioning.
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
- Test -drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
- Provide and estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- Previous Automotive Service Technician experience required
- Must have your own tools
- ASE Certification a plus
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic computer skills
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- ability to collaborate effectively
