We have an immediate opening for an Auto Technician (A or B level). We are a very busy shop with plenty of hours, offering a great work environment for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including domestic and foreign models.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Provide clear and professional communication with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology, diagnostic tools, and repair methods.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, braking, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
- Must have own tools.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
