WHAT DOES THE TIRE PRESS SPECIALIST DO?
The Tire Press Specialist is responsible for maintaining the tire inventory, tire exchange program, and operate tire press either in the shop or at the customer’s site. They will also assist service, parts, used and rental departments to ensure customer satisfaction. They will help maintain the TOTAL Industries facility including keeping it in a safe, clean and organized condition at all times. Must have a sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines.
WHAT ARE THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Tire Management
- Tire Inventory Management.
- Tire Exchange Inventory Management.
- Pick-up/Deliver tires & parts at customer locations.
- Press and remove tires onto wheels in shop or on customer location.
- Tire press area is to be clean and organized at all times.
- Coordinate tire waste disposal and maintain Hazmat records.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Utilities/Safety
- Assist Utility Logistics Associate with facility organization and clean up duties daily.
- Follow all processes and procedures for daily, weekly and monthly tasks in support of safety and cleanliness.
- Report safety concerns to Parts Manager and work together with the Safety team to correct.
Requirements:
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS NEEDED?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills demonstrating a helpful attitude with everyone
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of inventory management
- Proficient PC computer skills – data entry, Excel, email
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and be team orientated
- Clean DMV record and drug screen

- Experience working in a maintenance and industrial equipment environment
