We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with all manufactures of vehicles and be able to perform heavy lifting.Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements- repair problems with vehicles- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide excellent customer service- Perform auto body repairs and welding as needed- Sell additional services or repairs to customers when appropriate- Repair and maintain equipment used in the service departmentSkills:- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent customer service skills- Knowledge of auto body repair and welding techniques Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a formal training program in automotive technology preferred- At least 1-2 years of experience as a service technician in an automotive repair shop- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour
