*Job Overview* We are currently looking for a dedicated Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service center and providing top-notch customer service. *Responsibilities* - Oversee and manage all aspects of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control - Lead a team of technicians and service advisors to deliver exceptional service to customers - Ensure efficient and timely completion of automotive repairs and maintenance services - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues with professionalism and efficiency - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for parts and supplies as needed - Implement and maintain service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations - Collaborate with the sales team to promote service offerings and increase customer retention - Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify vehicle issues accurately - Provide guidance and support to technicians on complex repairs and troubleshooting *Requirements* - Proven experience in a service management role within the automotive industry - Strong background in sales, customer service, tire service, automotive diagnostics, shocks struts, mechanic work, service writing, auto estimating, diesel engine repair, and transmission services - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team - Proficiency in using computerized systems for tracking work orders and inventory - In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes - Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
