Service Writer
Ray's Diesel & Automotive Repair is a NAPA Gold-Certified Diesel and Automotive Repair shop. Although we specialize in Diesel Truck repair, we have the technician set to repair just about any vehicle.
Position Summary
Must have service writer experience and/or service counter experience. The Service Writer's primary responsibility is to develop repair orders, write story lines for customers, communicate with customers, order parts, assist with returning parts, and submit warranty claims. This is an extremely busy shop and it is critical that parts needed for repairs are ready to go when a technician begins a job. Experience with gas and diesel engine parts and repairs is desired.
A clean driving record is preferred as this position also may require picking up parts occasionally and dropping off vehicles for alignments.
Essential Duties(include but are not limited to) include but are not limited to:
- Parts Ordering
- Parts Inventory
- Parts and Core Returns
- Filing Warranty Claims
- Customer Service
- Writing Repair Orders
- Communicating with Customers regarding repairs

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
