Responsibilities of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- General Shop work diagnosing and repairing agriculture and construction equipment systems, including engines, hydraulics, power trains, air conditioning, and electrical components
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel and heavy equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle
- Our diesel technicians will be responsible for all maintenance of our fleet
- As a diesel mechanic you will work in a clean safe environment
Qualifications of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- Previous experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing Heavy Equipment
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Hydraulic and Electrical System Experience required
- Experience with Case, Kubota, Big Yellow, Big Red, and Hay Equipment
- Construction Equipment, Skid steers, excavator, and/or AG Equipment experience
- Dealership Experience preferred
- Ability to Operate Equipment for Testing Purposes preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of heavy equipment repair experience required
