Automotive Technician (Diesel)
ALM Automotive Group is looking to add to our Automotive Service Technician (Diesel) team! Experience with Ford car lines is a plus!
Automotive Technician Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for preventive maintenance of vehicles along with the replacement of general automotive parts and accessories.
Conduct a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs; including but not limited to brakes, all tire related services, including mounting, balancing, and flat repairs, fluid changes, steering and suspension, maintenance services, starting and charging.
Responsible for securing vehicles during repairs and after repairs are completed.
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
- Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
- Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
- Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software
- A valid driver’s license
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour (Based on experience)
