We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team of Land Rover and Jaguar specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, have strong work ethics and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles correctly the first time. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. The Automotive Technician will work with various tools and equipment, including diagnostic computers, power tools and hand tools, to deliver high-quality service on a range of vehicles, particularly Jaguar and Land Rover. We are a full service shop with a well established customer base with continuing growth. Responsibilities
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must owns automotive tools
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Skills
- Proficiency in using computers, power tools and hand tools for automotive repairs.
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and engine repair.
- Experience with auto estimating to provide accurate service quotes.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Familiarity with European vehicles is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Able to see a repair through from start to finish is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
