First Texas Honda is seeking a high-performing Assistant Service Manager to lead the daily operations of our fast-paced service department under the direction of the Service Director. This individual is responsible for cultivating a positive culture, serving a loyal clientele, maintaining excellent employee relations, managing expenses, and maintaining sales and profit objectives. They will provide leadership and direction to advisors, cashiers, valet, and transportation staff to ensure that all guests receive exceptional treatment. This role requires satisfaction of any/all customer concerns and ensures that service is being performed at a level of the highest quality.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Stay up-to-date on product changes, manufacturer training, and new products.
Hire, train, develop, and support the service team to achieve key goals.
Provides direction and daily oversight to Service Advisors and support staff.
Ensure all guests receive exceptional treatment and service.
Ensure that the service staff meets all customer satisfaction (CSE) and financial goals.
Work closely with Warranty Administrators and DPSM to manage warranty claims and approvals.
Monitor and manage Service Department budgets.
Analyze service department business to determine areas of opportunity, and develop action plans to improve performance.
Works closely leadership team members including the Production Manager, Diag Tech, and the Service Director to ensure efficient, productive, and safe day to day operations.
Ensure proper repair procedures are being followed.
Requirements:
Experience working with automotive DMS systems
Experience managing/leading a team with a proven track record of success
Ability to motivate and manage a large team (30+)
A high-performance mindset
Ability to hold others accountable with high expectations
Outgoing, friendly, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and manage a very busy schedule
Experience excelling in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about the customer experience
Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
Ability to set, meet, and exceed targeted goals.
Experience and desire to work with cutting-edge technology.
