Automotive Collision/Body Shop Manager
We know that a good Body Shop Manager does more than just repairs, they make sure that our customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner. Excellent customer satisfaction is our number one priority. If you are an experienced, hard working, team player, and known for your skill and attention to detail, then our busy collision center may be the perfect fit for you. You will need to have at least 1 year of experience in frame, metal, interior repairs on collision damaged vehicles, and estimating knowledge to qualify for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Estimates in accordance with Insurance Companies and company guidelines
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
- Follows up to ensure customer satisfaction of repairs
- Follows up to ensure productivity within the shop. Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after completions of repairs
- Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities
- Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment
- Develops personal growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Confidence to handle high volumes under pressure
- Experience in the estimating/body shop
- Knowledge of CDK/CCC One/Mitchell Software
- Effectively communicate with insurance companies and customers
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Familiarity with various insurance direct repair guidelines is a great plus
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
