Here at Legend, we are a leading manufacturer of premium aluminum trailers and we are currently seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team. As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for prepping and painting the trailer frames and components to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the trailer frames and components for painting by removing any rust and slag with a wire brush
- Apply aquacron coating to all areas being painted
- Mix paint and xylene according to specifications
- Wear a respirator while working
- Paint each trailer and its components per paint mil thickness according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Proven experience as a Paint Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
