Andrews Cadillac is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Technician Apprentice to a World Class GM Technician. As a Technician Apprentice, you will have hands-on experience under the supervision of our World Class Technician. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
- Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
- Keep a log for work performed and vehicle issues.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
- Ability to learn modern technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a clean/acceptable driving record.
- Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Environment – Requires frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and both inside and outside conditions.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Must be able to read, write and have repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, stretch, etc.
- Requires the ability to visually inspect work.
