LEXUS OF COOL SPRINGS AND LEXUS OF NASHVILLE HAVE OPENINGS FOR LEXUS MASTER CERTIFIED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS
Lexus dealerships in the Nashville area are looking to hire Lexus or Toyota certified Master Technicians. The candidates should be factory certified at one of the highest tiers and be competent enough to perform any and all diagnostics and repairs with no supervision and little, if any, support. The Master Technician has the responsibility of understanding and completing routine repairs necessary for the repair of customer vehicles. These repairs include, but are not limited to, light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems (starters and alternators) HVAC systems, steering & suspension systems. This individual will have a majority of their manufacture certifications.
Master Technician responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Lexus vehicles, maintaining high customer satisfaction and meeting productivity and efficiency numbers. Applicants must be team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of excellence.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform team leader if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by customer
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Notify service consultants immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
- Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order using the concern, cause and correction format
- Road-test vehicles to check work performed
- Ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Maintain manufacturer (CSI) Customer Satisfaction Index at or above the manufacturer's specified goal(s) in service for district, regional and national scores
- Complete the work, notations and time-keeping necessary to the successful completion of warranty repair orders and the filing of warranty claims
- Keep shop area neat clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times
- Understand and follow federal, state and locate regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company as vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
- Must be a minimum of 19 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- ASE and Lexus/Toyota certifications heavily preferred
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR and drug test
