Senior Automotive Mechanical Technician
Growing collision repair company in Decatur, IL is seeking an experienced mechanic to perform automotive mechanical work including but not limited to, Alignments, Tires, Suspension, A/C, Engine, Exhaust, Calibrations, Diagnostics and Troubleshooting. This is an excellent position for a motivated person with a positive attitude. If you are looking for a state of the art facility utilizing the latest equipment and working with great people than look no further. You will be operating in a 2400 square foot heated and air conditioned building, 2 post and 4 post lift, Hunter alignment machine and tire mounter and balancer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remove and reinstall body parts as needed
- Alignments, Wheels and Tires, Suspension
- Electrical, A/C, Interior and Dash work
- Troubleshooting, Calibrations and Diagnostics
- Test drive vehicles
- Keep an organized and clean work area
- Organize parts that come on/off of a vehicle onto a parts cart
- Follow all manufacturers guidelines
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Reassemble vehicles following pre designated OEM procedures
Job Requirements:
- Standing, kneeling, and bending
- Available to work overtime during heavy volume
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and insurability
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Clean appearance
- Candidate must be able to take direction, work in a team environment, and subscribe to our mission of providing friendly service and quality repairs for our customers.
The ability to move around to various departments of our production team is a plus.
$90,000.00 per year guarantee
