EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting skilled maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, tractors, construction equipment, and powered hand tools. This includes performing tasks such as oil changes, mechanical diagnostics, tune-ups, tire changes, engine repairs, cooling system adjustments, electrical work, and brake system repairs. You will conduct official state safety and emissions inspections on vehicles within their license class, ensuring that all repairs are in compliance with regulations. Completes necessary paperwork, road tests vehicles, and affixes inspection stickers as required by state guidelines. This position works on diesel equipment, performing tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, water pump replacements, and repairs on electrical, cooling, suspension, and driveline systems. Also responsible for making field adjustments to equipment to ensure safe operation and minimize wear.Interested in learning more?
