Job Summary
Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is seeking an automotive Body Shop Tear Down Technician, Entry Level, to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual ready to tackle complex automotive tear down and repair challenges in a fast-paced environment. This position is a full time – hourly skilled labor role.
Compensation & Benefits
Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe offers highly competitive wages of $16 to $19 per hour plus benefits.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed instructions to complete orders on a timely basis
- Properly identify automotive body parts
- Tear down and disassembly of automotive body parts
- Properly store and handle automotive parts accurately during tear down
- Accurately complete paperwork
- Adhere to safety and health regulations
- Ensure automotive parts are placed into storage in a safe and orderly manner
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of the auto body parts
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous experience in auto body and/or automotive tear down preferred
- Must be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions
- Ability to follow safety regulations and use proper safety equipment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools to tear down and assemble automotive body parts
- Ability to work long hours on your feet
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
