As an Automotive Diagnostic Mechanic, you will provide a world-class automotive retail experience through meticulous vehicle inspections and proficient repairs. If you are driven by ambition and goal-oriented, we encourage you to apply today!
What you’ll be working on:
- Perform precise and efficient troubleshooting and repairs of vehicle malfunctions
- Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on all vehicles
- Stay updated on the latest automotive industry practices and advancements in repair techniques
- Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment during vehicle test-drives
- Continuously expand technical knowledge and skills to uphold proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repairs
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation for customer and company records
- Collaborate effectively with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed about recommended additional services
- Diagnose, service, and repair diverse automotive systems, encompassing engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, among others
- Execute repair tasks outlined in service orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards and procedures
What you need to bring to the table:
- Possess over one year of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and problem-solving
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Experience with X-Time/CDK software is beneficial
- Must pass DMV and background check requirements
- Shows enthusiasm for in-house learning and development opportunities
- Proficient in operating a wide range of automotive repair tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment used in automotive repair
- A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record are mandatory.
Salary: $33.00-$90.00/hour
- Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
