- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Arm-Hand Steadiness, Manual Dexterity, and Coordination
- Ability to understand customer problems and needs
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibility: As a service technician, you are responsible for:
- REPAIRING AND MAINTAINING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT: Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and other mechanical agricultural equipment and implements.
- OPERATING VEHICLES, MECHANIZED DEVICES, OR EQUIPMENT: Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and tractors.
- MAKING REPAIRS AND SOLVING PROBLEMS: Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- UPDATING AND USING RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE: Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Working Conditions
- Heat factors in summer months
- Requires some outdoor activity
- May be Exposed to Contaminants, pollutants, and gases
- Sound levels may be loud due to drills and machinery
COMPENSATION – FLSA Standard Is Non-Exempt
- Hourly Wage: DOE $33.00 to $50.00/hour
