Job Description:
The ADAS Technician will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in various vehicle models. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and functionality of advanced automotive technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and calibration of ADAS components, including sensors, cameras, and radar systems.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot ADAS-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop and implement effective solutions for ADAS systems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ADAS technologies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, calibrations, and repairs performed on vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding ADAS services and vehicle performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all work activities.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of ADAS technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive technology or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience working with ADAS technologies and systems.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic tools.
- Proficient in using calibration equipment and software for ADAS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
The ADAS Technician will work in various locations, including but not limited to, collision repair shops, automotive repair shops, or any location that the technician may be called out to in order to perform a calibration. The ADAS Technician will be required to stand for extended periods of time, bending, and lifting heavy objects. The ADAS Technician may be required to work in varying weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
