The Fab Lab Las Vegas is looking for a motivated and talented Automotive Mechanic. Position is a full-time, hourly position and compensation is dependent on industry experience, knowledge and skill level. Paid holidays & PTO are available after 90 days. Candidate must have the ability to perform a one day paid work interview.

We’re not looking for someone to train, but we will give direction and assist the right person to learn and improve their knowledge.
Requested Qualifications & Skills:
- General automotive & mechanical knowledge
- Experience working on classic cars & unique automotive builds
- Diagnose & repair domestic and import vehicles
- Experience with engine & transmission rebuilds
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair and maintain various vehicle components.
- Conduct electrical wiring and troubleshooting for automotive electrical systems.
- Complete assembly tasks for vehicle parts and systems.
- Execute fabrication and welding as needed.
- Address suspension and transmission issues to ensure vehicle performance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair and maintain various vehicle components such as suspension, transmissions, and basic diesel engines
- Experience with Air Ride and/or hydraulic suspension systems
- Ability to calculate material measurements and specifications
- Proficiency with automotive wiring, handle electrical wiring tasks for vehicle systems
- Finish work & final assembly experience
- Ability to start and finish tasks in a timely manner
- Capable of taking and executing direction from superiors
- Attention to detail while maintaining time lines and meeting deadlines
- Efficient and effective work habits
- Collaborate with team members to complete assembly tasks efficiently
- Respectful and on time with a mature demeanor.
