Automotive Mechanic/Technician
Dealers Auto Auction of the Southwest is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic/ Technician for its small but busy mechanical shop.
Job Description and Duties:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform vehicle mechanical inspections and road tests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Be punctual and dependable.
- Demonstrate good teamwork and work well with other employees and customers.
- Be able to prioritize and be highly productive with minimal supervision.
What we are seeking:
- At least 5 years’ experience working on a variety of makes and models.
- ASE certifications are great but not necessary.
- Excellent diagnostic skills. We are looking for someone who is more than just a parts replacer.
- A reasonably clean Motor Vehicle Record. Our insurance requires it.
- Great attitude. We enjoy coming to work every day and want to work with others who feel the same.
- Dependability. Other people are relying on you, so be here every day, on time.
- A complete set of tools to work on a wide variety of vehicles.
- An up to date diagnostic scan tool would be great.
Schedule
- A Full Time, Monday-Friday, sometimes 40-hour work week with a great work/life balance.
