As Mach’s first Paint Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of our aircraft painting process, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
Responsibilities:
Own preparation, painting, and detailing of carbon fiber military aircraft.
Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces of aircraft components to ensure optimal adhesion of paint.
Apply primers, paints, and finishes using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or rolling.
Work closely with Mach’s engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver components that meet MILSPEC aerospace specifications.
Maintain and clean painting equipment, booths, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Comply with safety rules and procedures and be alert for unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma
3+ years of experience painting car bodies or aircraft
Experience with advanced paint processes and products (bondo, acrylics, enamels, solvent-based, urethanes, and epoxies)
Experience with various painting techniques, including paint sprayers, brushes, etc.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations.
