Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership environment and possess a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and general automotive repair. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to work on GM vehicles, including suspension systems and shocks/struts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues, ensuring vehicles are safe and operational.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- Work on automotive electrical systems, including wiring repairs and component replacements.
- Perform powertrain repairs, including engine and transmission work.
- Inspect suspension systems, shocks, struts, and other critical components for wear and damage.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.59 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
