Performance Plus Tire & Automotive Superstore is a family-owned business with over 50 years’ history. We are proudly one of the largest independent tire, wheel, and custom suspension dealers in Southern California. We are also one of the world’s largest marketers of vintage tires and custom wheels.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating expertise in various automotive systems. As a Master Diagnostician with ASE Certification, you will be utilizing your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance, which will be key in maintaining our standards of excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair services
Responsibilities
- Performing automotive repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Staying updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
- Collaborating with team members to streamline workflow and deliver exceptional service
- Upholding safety standards and guidelines in all automotive repair and maintenance activities
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicating effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
Skills
- Proficient on alignments and suspension.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with brake repair, shocks, struts, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide accurate assessments.
- Ability to work with hand tools efficiently and safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
Qualifications
- ASE Certified
- 5+ Years of automotive repair experience
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing any/all types of vehicles
- Team Oriented

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
